Samsung may introduce foldable smartphone at MWC 2017

According to a recent news report ETnews agency, together with the tablet Galaxy Tab S3, the company also will place a prototype of its foldable smartphone in a separate exhibition hall, which will be available only to some people.

Probably, this smartphone will be the Galaxy X1, which we have already seen several leaks. When unfolding the device can turn into a 7-inch tablet. Also, the smartphone can receive a physical button Home, which, by the way, lost Samsung Galaxy S8.

This will allow Samsung to see the potential market reaction to these products, and can also serve as a way to encourage other device manufacturers to place orders for new screens through its subsidiary – Samsung Display.

It also reported that the South Korean technology giant is also planning to introduce other bendable gadgets at MWC exhibition, which will be available for inspection each member of Congress in Barcelona.

Even if Samsung really present folding device at MWC 2017 we are unlikely to see commercial variations until the end of this year.
