The new Wi-Fi standard is 2 times faster

New Wi-Fi standard will break all previous records speed thanks to Wi-Fi Alliance. Advanced 802.11ac technology allows you to transfer data at a rate twice as high as compared to the current version of 802.11n.

According to experts, the maximum speed of this connection will be 1.3 gigabits per second. These indicators will be twice the current figures. The new standard Wi-Fi 802.11ac will surpass the previous version of 802.11n. twice. This speed will download HD quality film in 4 minutes.

The new standard will allow to stream movie mode UltraHD format. Quantenna Company in California and intends to exceed this rate, creating a connection to 1.7 gigabits per second. Technically we have to let the information on four channels at once.

Major electronics manufacturers Realtek, Intel, Qualcomm, Broadcom and MediaTek has released routers and chip sets with support for Wi-Fi 802.11ac.
