Acer has announced a new Android-smartphone called Liquid Jade 2. Having replaced the Liquid Jade and Liquid Jade S, a new smartphone offers up to 1 TB of hybrid space.
The term «hybrid», The Acer implies that Jade 2 comes with 32 GB of internal memory, and remaining memory available due to cloud storage. According to Acer, the cloud is so seamlessly integrated into a new device that the user should not notice the difference.
In terms of specifications Jade 2 is very similar to Jade Primo that is running the Windows operating system 10. Previously, we did hear that Primo will get Android-version, and it looks like this is exactly what is Jade 2.
The smartphone is equipped with 5.5-inch AMOLED-display with a resolution of 1920×1080 pixels, it is powered by a six-core processor Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 supports work in LTE networks, has 3 GB of RAM and a 21-megapixel main camera with autofocus and phase recording 4K-video.
The new smartphone also comes with support for DTS Headphone technology: X, which has been reported to provide good sound for any headphones. We assume that Jade 2 will operate on the basis of Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
Unfortunately, the Acer is not shared, when, where and at what price Jade 2 will be released.
