Since the announcement of Android Auto took 18 months, and all the time it took to produce compatible head units. Everything began to change this year, the products presented at CES 2016 companies Pioneer Kenwood and Parrot.
Model range of Pioneer in 2016 represented devices AVH-4200NEX, that is a system of the lower price range, as well as the AVIC-7200NEX and AVIC-8200NEX, which focus on the more expensive segment. All models have a 7-inch touchscreen display.
JVCKenwood presented DNX893S and DDX9903S. Both devices have an almost 7-inch capacitive ekranlm and use the extra display for navigation.
After the abolition of the head unit Android Auto in the past year, Parrot returns to the infotainment system of NIS 7100+. NIS 7100+ is actually the Android-powered device with its own media player, web browser and a voice recognition system, but it also supports Android Auto.
All head units are now available for sale.
