Android N brings big changes for smartphones and tablets, but it does not mean that there will be some interesting changes for Android TV. Developer’s Preview for Nexus Play discloses some improvements, including a new visual layout, and support for multiple accounts.

Setting has been given a whole new look. Several rows of tiles have been replaced by a single column, which looks very similar to the settings on your smartphone or tablet, in addition, now the settings are displayed in the form of a curtain.

Items are still organized into sections, and setting received the same content as in the past, just got another layout. Text remains about the same size, but huge icons have been replaced by much smaller.

At the same time, it seems, Android N will bring support for multiple accounts, to which many users complained. For a device to be used by several family members, this makes sense, since they should be able to log in and access content that they have rented or purchased on Google Play.

Unfortunately, some accounts do not work properly. Most applications have not been updated to gain support for multiple accounts, so by default they are working for the parent account.
