Galaxy A9 Pro tested GFXbench

A couple of weeks ago it was reported that Samsung is developing Galaxy A9 Pro smartphone, although it was not clear how it will differ from the usual Galaxy A9 (2016).

Recently, customs data showed that the model SM-A9100 has been sent to India for testing, again leaving a mystery specification.

And then, finally, GFXbench database shed light on this question. To begin with, that does not seem too credibility. Listing indicated that the smartphone screen size is 5.5 inches.

Diagonal Hello standard Galaxy A9 (2016) is 6 inches, while the A7 (2016) received a 5.5-inch Galaxy A8 – 5.7-inch display. Therefore, the need for a 5.5-inch smartphone series A is simply not there.

The rest, however, looks pretty good. Eight-processor with Cortex-A72 cores clocked at 1.8 GHz, apparently, is a chip Qualcomm Snapdragon 652. And one of the notable specs – the amount of RAM that is 4 GB, instead of 3 GB per Galaxy A9 (2016).

As for the camera, the listing indicated that the smartphone has a 7-megapixel camera, but obviously this is an error associated with the data read from a smartphone.

In any case, the A9 (2016) Galaxy received a 13-megapixel main camera, and the Pro Galaxy A9, is rumored to be equipped with a 16-megapixel shooter.

In the past, the Samsung use Sony sensors for its devices, including the current Galaxy S6, so that it is possible that the novelty will receive the camera sensor from the Japanese manufacturer.

While this is all we know about the upcoming smartphone. Judging by the number of leaks, we are just a couple of weeks from the announcement of the device, so it remains only to wait for the new Galaxy A9 Pro information.
