Galaxy J5 and J7 get autofocus?

While Samsung has not announced the news, but we can now look at them through the Chinese certification center of telecommunications services, which just approved two devices.

In the summer of last year, Samsung released the Galaxy smartphones and J5 J7 as its first devices that feature a front-facing camera with LED flash. Now the company is preparing to release a successor both smartphones, which will have some obvious names: Galaxy J5 (2016) and Galaxy J7 (2016).

While Samsung has not announced the news, but we can now look at them through the Chinese certification center of telecommunications services, which just approved two devices.

Galaxy J5 (2016) and Galaxy J7 (2016) look almost the same, although J7 is larger smartphone, thanks to its 5.5-inch Full HD-display, against the 5.2-inch HD-screen J5. Compared with last year, the new smart phones look more elegant, but probably they are still made of plastic.

J7 is supplied in two embodiments, and their difference is that the SM-J7108 is powered by an eight-processor with a frequency of 1.6 GHz (possibly, Exynos of 7870), and SM-J7109 powered by an unknown eight-processor with four cores at 1.5GHz and four cores clocked at 1.2 GHz.

Furthermore, J7 supports LTE network 13 received the basic megapixel front and a 5 megapixel camera (with the LED flash, of course), 3 GB of RAM and a 16 GB expandable internal memory. Previous rumors said that the device will have a massive 4300 mAh battery, but it seems that the smartphone is equipped with a battery of 3,300 mAh.

With a smaller screen resolution, Galaxy J5 (2016) is clearly less advanced than J7. While the permission of the cameras are the same as that of the fellow, the smartphone received a quad-core processor with a frequency of 1.2 GHz, and only 2 GB of RAM, plus 16 GB expandable storage.

Interestingly, both the smartphone seems to have laser autofocus main camera – at least that’s what the photos show the rear panel. If this is true, J5 and J7 will be the first smartphone from Samsung with this type of AF.

Unfortunately, devices running Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system. Nevertheless, we hope that they will update to Android 6.0 Marshmallow before starting.
