After a series of various leaks we finally had the chance to learn all the details of the flagship Samsung – Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge.
Both smartphones have received the display with a resolution and pixel 2560h1440 function Always On Display, which allows you to find basic information, such as time, calendar or notice without having to touch the screen or turn.
Galaxy S7 received a 5.1-inch display, while the S7 Edge has a large 5.5-inch screen. Given these dimensions, their density pixels constitute 576ppi and 534ppi, respectively. Both displays are covered with scratch-resistant glass.
Smartphones from Samsung boasts new and improved chipsets, which are more powerful and more efficient than the previous generation. The American version runs on Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor, which has four custom 64-bit processor cores, powerful graphics accelerator Adreno 530, and 4 GB of memory LPDDR4.
Although the number of processor cores has been reduced to four, Snapdragon 820 by 30% and 35% better Snapdragon 810 in performance and energy efficiency, respectively. Similarly, with Adreno 530 graphics processor, it works up to 40% faster than the Adreno 430. Outside the US, the device will work on the basis of Exynos 8990 chipset, which is 30% faster than the Exynos 7420.
As for the battery, the battery equipped with the Galaxy S7 3000 mAh while Galaxy S7 Edge battery was 3600 mAh. In addition, devices have a 12-megapixel camera with BRITECELL 1/2-inch sensor and the large size of the pixels. Also, the camera is equipped with a Dual Pixel technology for fast AF.
