Google will release a keyboard for iOS

Although it may offend fans of Google, Android – is not the only platform which embeds the search giant.

Google will release a keyboard for iOS

A huge proportion of the resources the company spends on creating applications for Android competitor – iOS. After starting the application, such as a Gmail, Hangouts, Chrome, Maps, Photos and Drive, Google may release the keyboard for Apple mobile devices.

Google Keyboard for iOS has been in development for several months and will enable users to search directly from the keyboard itself.

Google’s keyboard offers more features than the standard Apple application that users can use swipe text input, something we’ve seen on Android in the next few years. But that’s not all.

iOS version of the Google keyboard will offer a whole new look and a button to search for images. But why Google decided to create a keyboard for your competitor?

This is probably an attempt to increase the volume of searches on mobile devices. As it is well known PC users perform searches about 1.23 a day, and on mobile devices – half as much.

Reduction of search queries – where Google gets most of its money by showing ads – poses a great threat to them and their business.
