Kirin has surpassed 955 Helio X20 in multi-core test

Recall Kirin 955 comes with a quad-core Cortex-the A72 with a clock speed of 2.5 GHz and four Cortex-A53 cores clocked at 1.8 GHz. That for the GPU, the chipset is equipped with a graphics accelerator Mali-T880. For comparison, Kirin 950 is clocked at 2.3 GHz. So, let’s look at the performance test of the new chipset.

IT168 reported test results of two benchmarks. The single-core GeekBench test, 955 of Kirin managed to score 1809 points, which is pretty good. Of course, this can not be compared with the Snapdragon 820 or Exynos 8890, which gained in 2139 and 2353 points respectively. However, this result was enough to bypass much desyatiyaderny Helio X20 in the same test, who scored 1790 points.
