OPPO and Vivo pushed Xiaomi and Lenovo in the global market

IDC says that in the first quarter of 2016, OPPO made about 18.5 million shipments, which is pr Rostom at 153.2% year on year. Thus, the company ranked fourth with a market share of 5.5%.

Figures global sales of smartphone sales in the first quarter of 2016 were published, and it was not a great start to the year for Lenovo and Xiaomi. Last year, the company was listed as the fourth and the fifth largest producer of smartphones, but now it’s place was taken by OPPO and Vivo.

With 14.3 million shipments and growth in 123.8%, the first karate completed the Vivo, finishing in fifth place. Chinese manufacturers have established a solid sales network in emerging markets. OPPO and Vivo achieved results through the market of India, creating production capacity and strong retail sales.

Meanwhile, the Samsung retained the lead as the number one provider of smart phone shipments to 81.9 million, with a market share amounting to 24.5%, which is 0.1% less than the same period last year.

Apple is in second place with 51.2 million shipments, down from 61.2 million units, which was able to sell in the first quarter of 2015. Thus, the company’s share decreased from 18.3% to 15.3%.

Huawei is ranked third with 27.5 million shipments and 8.2% market share, with an increase in the annual rate of 58.4%.
