Not so long ago we post news about the plans regarding the renovation of its flagship devices. According to the road map, Galaxy Note5 users should not expect updates until December. But one lucky owner got Android 6.0 Marshmallow ahead of schedule.
The owner of T-Mobile-version Galaxy Note5 named Danone after complaining about problems with the IMEI, took advantage of the recovery program, ODIN’s, in an effort to get to the sink device firmware. In theory, the firmware, the user had to get worn marking N920TUVU2COJ5, but after recovery, and verification of the system upgrade, the firmware had marked N920TUVU2DOK5, which is Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
Danon wrote about it in the forum thread update XDA. He also published some screenshots of the updated Android OS on your Galaxy Note5. The system still looks like the previous version, but some of the differences between them are obvious.
Apparently, Samsung has everything ready for the start to upgrade their devices and we expect that it can begin as early as next month.
