The new quick settings menu lets you quickly access a range of settings, just one swipe down. Earlier Marshmallow you could only see the date and time, and battery status, and Wi-Fi. The Android N you’ll get a menu of fast settings, offering the fastest switches for Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, Auto Pan, Bluetooth, and a flashlight. Also, you can access the battery statistics.

Of course, expanded Quick Settings menu is still there and you can still use it, but even here there are some changes. The Android N, you can click on the Edit button in the lower right corner of the panel to add new parameters.

By default, you can add a button to save the data, invert the colors, and the Hotspot Cast. You can also remove some quick settings that are already on the home page.



In addition, there was the ability to drag icons Quick Settings, and developers will be able to create their own tiles that extend the functionality of Android N.

And Google has made sure that the quick settings panel does not turn into a long list on the screen. All new tiles will be added in a new window, which can be accessed in the usual swipe.
