Cases before the Supreme Court, judges are chosen so that there is no guarantee that eventually the case will be heard by the court. Samsung claims that the current patent law is not suitable for modern times.
South Korean technology giant adds that if the current precedent remain unnoticed, then it will reduce the number of innovative technologies, suppress competition, will open the way for litigation with patent trolls, which has a negative impact on the economy and consumers.
