China has long been regarded as a hotbed of copyright and patent violations. Thus, the number of Chinese companies are threatening lawsuits with foreign producers, if they come out to the global market. However, unlike other companies, Huawei’s filed a lawsuit against the Samsung, claiming that their opponent is South Korea used the technology associated with the connection 4G and user interface.
We are very much accustomed to Apple and Samsung battle for the patent accusations and violations of copyright.
Huawei’s bold move to sue the Samsung, making it the first Chinese company that will plead with the technological giant of such magnitude. It is also one of the steps in a wider battle for the championship.
Huawei has filed lawsuits in the US and China, and is seeking compensation for the illegal use of 4G network technologies, along with unspecified irregularities concerning the operating system and software. Head of the rights to Huawei’s intellectual property, expressed the hope that Samsung will cease to violate their patents, and will receive the necessary license from Huawei, together to move the business forward.
Of course, the deal will depend on whether Samsung would agree with the fact that they used the patented technology of Huawei and, more importantly, whether the court will satisfy the application of Huawei. It is worth mentioning that the Huawei company gets most of its revenue due to the telecommunications infrastructure and boasts an impressive list of more than 50,000 issued patents.
