Samsung introduced two folding smartphone at MWC 2017

It looks like a standard form factor smartphones has exhausted itself, and manufacturers are trying to figure out what to do next. Google is betting on the modular design of the smartphone Ara, and Samsung is going to introduce a folding smartphone. According to Bloomberg, the Korean giant is working on two experimental folding devices that may see the light next year.

As it turned out, both of these ideas may be relevant in the next year, hitting the consumer market as a flagship device under unknown names, which will not be used “Galaxy S”.

The first smartphone to be equipped with a 5-inch screen, which can be “expand the display to 8 inches”To essentially turn into a small tablet, but it is not clear how the unused portions of the screen have to be added when the device is used as a smartphone.

The second concept – this is what we have seen in the above patents, namely smartphone “which is folded in half, as a cosmetic compact”- reports Bloomberg. Apparently, Project Valley is the name under which Samsung is developing both devices, and the company plans to show them to us in 2017 at the MWC conference.
