Samsung started mass production of curved displays

Apparently, Samsung has already started mass production of the corresponding 5.5-inch flexible displays for the Galaxy S7 Edge. This is indicated by the industry insiders, who note that Samsung want to avoid supply shortages, as it was last year with the Galaxy S6 Edge.

Reportedly, Samsung has underestimated demand for its first model with the panel, curved on both sides, which led to the unrealized potential of sales, and not so successful fiscal quarter after the launch S6 and S6 the Edge, as it could be.

This year, Samsung intend to do differently, running additional production lines in the factory, which will create at least 9 million, the OLED panels per month, if the need arises.

In addition, the information we get is another confirmation that the Galaxy S7 Edge will get a 5.5-inch display – pretty good progress compared to last year, when the Galaxy S6 Edge Plus came with the same screen size in Note5.
