The new report, published on Saturday, said that Samsung is preparing the release of three new Exynos chipset.
Exynos 8890 chipset will be the new flagship of the company. Previously codenamed Mongoose M1, this chip will work in one of the variations of the upcoming Galaxy S7.
Exynos 8890 will receive a maximum frequency of 2.3 GHz, and will use the custom kernel. In addition, it will be produced using 14nm process technology FinFET. The chip can be released in the second quarter of 2016, around the same time as the Galaxy S7.
Exynos 7422, which were to equip the Galaxy Note5, is also one of the new chips. Third, according to the report, it will be called the Exynos 7880. The last two processors most likely will use a quad-core Cortex-A72 and four Cortex-A53 core.
Exynos 7422 and Exynos 7880 will be released in the second half of 2016, moreover, 7880 will be used in next-generation mid-range smartphones.
