After extensive testing in Beta mode, YouTube for Android has received a new video settings menu and small changes in the player window. Now parameters no longer superimposed on the video, and emerge from the bottom up as a separate overlay.

Video player, in turn, received a redesigned sleek red progress bar, which always appears at the bottom of the player. Previously, the bar was only visible when you hover over a window. The progress bar is made in the same style as the newly added function, which shows the progress in the video tab «home».

These two changes are widely deployed in the YouTube app for Android. Also, Google recently added messaging feature that is currently in the testing stage, and available for a limited number of users.
